Since childhood, artist and artisan Alyne Pacheco has always been interested in arts and crafts. At the age of 17, she started producing drawings and paintings and developing her own language. Today, she is graduating in Visual Arts at the Universidade Federal do Sul e Sudeste do Pará, Unifesspa, and seeks to improve herself by venturing to learn and practice several artistic languages.
In the artwork “Marabá and Its Ludic Legends”, Alyne portrays one of the tourist attractions of the city of Marabá and some legends of the region. The fish Tucunaré represents the city’s shore, and the pink river dolphin, the snake boiúna and the sow with rollers stand for symbols and cultural representations in her region.
