Born in Parauapebas, Pará, Eva lived part of her childhood and adolescence in the state of Piauí. Returning to her homeland about seven years ago, she started studying forest engineering at the Federal Rural University of the Amazon – UFRA. As a self-taught artist, she explores different drawing techniques and is now learning the art of tattooing.

Used to smaller formats, Tempos de lembrar (Times to Remember) is the largest artwork she has ever painted. Using spray and exploring new techniques and references during the workshops was a new challenge for her. According to the artist, the beautiful and dreamlike environment portrayed in the panel creates an ironic moment and should be taken as a subtle criticism of our current times.
