Born in Marabá-PA, M. Choice was raised by her grandparents in Curionópolis, in the Pará region of the legendary Serra Pelada, where she still lives, and attended high school. She is a self-taught digital artist who produces 2D artwork and creates game design and Unity programming. Passionate about digital games, she soon became interested in pixel art and cartoons, which eventually introduced her to drawing and painting. This was her first invitation to participate in an art show.
In her panel Garimpeiro no Céu (Gold Washer in Heaven) shown her, she uses mixed techniques on MDF, dividing the entire surface of the panel into small squares to achieve the desired effect of digital images with brush strokes. The work pays homage to simple men in search of the golden dream. But instead of the gray tone that prevails in the gold mining environment, the artist added to the scenery a blue sky and a tree known as pau da mentira (the Lie Tree).
