Shay Dias comes from Açailândia (MA). She works on several materials such as paper, fabric, canvas, walls, and digital media. She believes that working with art is a fun activity, in which she can use an array of colors and observe people’s reactions to new things.

For the Arte-em-Cores Project, she created the work “Imaginary Memory”. The title is a direct allusion to her own memories, an interplay of memories and fantasies. Her intention is to encourage the public’s imagination and creativity and to show that art is for everyone who wants to see, hear, and explore new possibilities in the world around them.
